Welcome to the Wonderful World of  Well-Mannered Dogs!

After owning businesses and working all over the world, I retired to the Shenandoah Valley and began training dogs.  I adore dogs and this is so much fun, it doesn't feel like work.  I offer many classes: Puppy  (10 weeks to five months old), Beginner (five months to any age), Intermediate, Advanced, Trick, Private lessons, and Therapy Dog classes.  My oldest Beginner student was 15 years old, so you really can teach an old dog new tricks.  I also have deaf dog experience.

I offer training and testing for the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen (CGC) titles and the STAR Puppy certification.   I'm also a Tester/Observer for the Alliance of Therapy Dogs.  Contact me if you want to become certified as a Therapy Dog Team.  The oldest therapy dog I have tested and approved was 16 years old, so it's never too late to do what you want to do.
